Can anyone enter the barbecue competition?
Yes! You can see more about the rules here www.ausbbq.com.au/abarules/ but Hobart Blues, Brews and Barbecues is open to anyone with a passion for BBQ. It's a great community and you will find lots of support and advice if you are keen to get involved.
Are there prizes?
Yes, over $10,000 in cash and prizes is on the line for 2019 comp!
What does my ticket get me?
Ticket options available at www.bluesbrewsbbqs.com.au. Ticket gains you entry to event and access to live music on two stages plus access to the barbecue competition area. Food can be purchased from the food vendors on the day.
Can kids come?
Yes! This is a family friendly event. Kids under 13 free.
Can I bring my own chair?
Yes, BYO chairs are permitted. Please be considerate of others when setting up.
Can you guarantee all vendors will have food all day?
We have some of the best BBQ Food Vans in Tas present at this event, however some vendors do run out of menu items as the day progresses. We will however always have a great selection of food available at all times.
Do the teams sell food?
Unfortunately due to health and safety precautions teams are unable to sell food prepared for the competition.
National act Polish Club have been added to the biggest lineup for Hobart Blues Brews & Barbecues ever to co-headline the Saturday night bill with The Hard Aches. Headliners for Sunday: Dan Sultan, The Black Sorrows with Vika and Linda. Plus a huge contingency of local blues acts.
